General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 2018 PRIVACY NOTICE

This document refers to personal data, which is defined as information concerning any living person.

The GDPR which is European Union (EU) wide and far more extensive than its predecessor the Data Protection Act, along with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), seek to protect and enhance the rights of EU data subjects. These rights cover the safeguarding of personal data, protection against the unlawful processing of personal data and the unrestricted movement of personal data within the EU and its storage within the European Economic Area (EEA).  

This privacy policy describes how and when I collect, use and share information about you.

INFORMATION I COLLECT:

Your contact details in relation to the products and services that I provide and purchasing a product or service from my company. You will normally provide me with certain information, such as your name, email address (work or private), postal address and telephone numbers (work or private). (Note: If you provide me with your private address for example for the delivery of goods, once delivered your private address will be deleted from all of my systems/paper records and not retained at all).

WHY I NEED YOUR INFORMATION AND HOW I USE IT:

I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use your information including:

• To manage my relationship with you, including notifying you about changes to my terms of sale or privacy policy, providing support in relation to products/services.
• When you have provided your affirmative consent which you may revoke at any time.
• If necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim.
• I am committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, I have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure your information.

You have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:

• You have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact details at the end of this document.
• Change, restrict, delete. You also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information.
• If you wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you have), you can contact me direct or you have the right to contact the information commissioner.

 
INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE:

I will keep your personal information safe and secure, I will not disclose your personal Information unless compelled to, in order to meet legal obligations, regulations or valid governmental requests.

CONSENT:

Through agreeing to this privacy notice you are consenting for me to processing your personal data for the purposes outlined. You can withdraw consent at any time by using the email address, provided at the end of this Privacy Notice.

DATA RETENTION:

I will process personal data for the duration that DAT Training is trading at which point all personal data will be deleted or as outlined in the section Your Rights.

DATA STORAGE:

All Data is held on secure computers, telephone numbers are stored on my mobile telephone.

COMPLAINTS:

In the event that you wish to make a complaint about how your personal data is being processed by me you have the right to complain to me. If you do not get a response within 30 days, you can complain to the relevant Data Protection Authority.
